| High School average/stream | A minimum High School Average of 60% for Advanced, Elite Track, General Track, or equivalent in Standardized International curriculums |
| English Proficiency | One of the following scores: ○ EmSAT score of 1100 for the English Language ○ IELTS Academic 5.0 ○ Paper Based TOEFL 500 ○ Internet Based TOEFL 61 |
| Mathematics Proficiency | Students with a high school score of less than 80% in Mathematics must pass one of the following: 1) Pass a University Administered test with a score of 80% in Mathematics (Or) 2) Submit an EMSAT score of 600 in Mathematics. 3) SAT in Mathematics with a score of 485 |
All applicants who passed the High School with an average score between 50% and 60% can be granted conditional admission to the program and they must simultaneously enroll in three non-credit remedial courses – a. Arabic Language, b. Mathematics, c. English Language. During conditional admission tenure, the student must submit EmSAT scores of 1100 on the EmSAT test in English, 800 on the EmSAT test in Arabic (or pass the Arabic Language course with a grade B), and 500 in the EmSAT test Mathematics (or pass the Mathematics course with a grade B). The student in the remedial conditional track will be allowed two semesters to successfully complete all of these courses with a passing score in order to continue in the program.
Students meeting the high school score of 60% but not achieving the minimum English Proficiency scores will be conditionally admitted to the program. While under conditional admitted status, each student must study in the Intensive English Program (IEP) and may only register in one or more of the Four General Education courses – 1. Computer Fundamentals, 2. University Mathematics, 3. Islamic Studies, 4. UAE Studies. The student will be allowed two semesters to achieve the required English Proficiency scores in order to continue in the program.
